The power of testimony

This week was pretty good! Tuesday was interesting. In the morning we
went and did some service which was fun. We helped a guy put up a
ceiling light. When we got back, the maintenance guy at our apartments
took us out for hot dogs. Which was way fun! Also we ate a lot of hot
dogs.

Wednesday I went on exchanges with elder small. And it was way
awesome! We had this one lesson that was amazing. There was an older
guy who has some health problems. And we got there and we were
teaching and we could tell that someone else was in his house.
I'm not sure the relation, but they came out
and were trying to tell us we were wrong and argue with us. And I was
honestly getting a little heated. But we decided to offer a prayer and
leave. So I offered a prayer. After I offered the prayer, the member
we brought with us asked if he could bear his testimony. He is a
convert of only a few months and is from Puerto Rico, and barely
speaks English. In his broken English he bore his testimony of God's
love and how the gospel has helped him. And the Spirit was so strong
you could touch it. and it literally confounded to woman who was
trying to argue with us so she could not speak, and the gentlemen we
went to say told us with tears in his eyes that he wanted to hear the
truth we had. It was an amazing experience and helped me learn the
power of testimony.

Thursday was fun! After we re-exhcanged, we went
and cut up some trees. Then just did some finding the rest of the day.
But were able to talk to a lot of people!

Friday was a lot like
Thursday except no cutting trees.

Saturday there was a youth
baptism that we helped with. And then some members took us out to
lunch after which was fun.

Sunday was awesome! We had church which was
great. I am always so grateful to partake of the sacrament. After
church we drove to Irmo and I got to conduct another baptismal
interview! It was so fun. I love hearing the testimonies of these
people so new to the gospel. Overall it was a great week! I love you
all and miss you tons!!
